Beautyism: The Beauty Obsession
Beautyism: a belief or doctrine that a person's physical appearance determines individual value and self worth. I created to bring light to the country's beauty obsession and the damaging effects that it has. I began with storyboards, then progressed to drawing the images with the help of stock art and the good ol' Google. After completing the digital drawings, I began "painting" them in Photoshop. Then I added shading, subtle vignettes, and lighting effects. Once the images were completed, I constructed the video using After Effects. Watch the final video.

The Hope Video was a collaboration between talented individuals, in an effort to raise awareness about PTSD and depression experience by many of our countries veterans. This was the first time making a video of this importance, and with such an elaborate process. When completing the video, I was surprised by how closely the final product resembled my original storyboards. Watch the final video.
Women In Partnership Logo
I Began with rough sketches as usual. Once I felt like I had something to work with, I generated computer roughs. I meet with the client with fifteen roughs and later with an additional five and client liked every one of them. The logo shown here is not the final choice, but I selected to show this one because I feel it is the strongest of the bunch.
Koonut Logo
Again with the sketches first…I know, so predictable. I can't even begin to guess how many different mockups and versions I did for their logo, but it is necessary to get it just right. Below I have pig sketches, because the client originally wanted a pig in the logo, but later decided on a different direction for the final. They decided to go with the more simplistic logo of the bunch for the final, which was a smart choice.
